Dear Michael, as a die-hard fan, obviously I would love if you stayed. There will be a big void in Formula One without you. F1 matters a great deal to me and you are the main reason for that. If you retire, F1 will suddenly seem to be just a sport and it will suddenly not matter so much. Given that, if you do decide to retire, I understand your decision perfectly. Since 1991 in Belgium you have thrilled us with your presence on the track and its understandable that you may have had enough and now you may want to focus elsewhere and even lead a settled life with your family in Switzerland. If you do retire, then I will always keep close to my heart, admire and respect the legacy, and legend that you will leave behind in Formula One....Whatever you decide to do, I am there with you. You are the true WELTMEISTER! FORZA FERRARI, FORZA SCHUMACHER!!

als ich in den News las, dass scheinbar die Zeichen bei Dir auf Abschied stehen, war ich schockiert.
Vielleicht liefen in letzter Zeit verschiedene Team-Internas für Dich nicht so ab, wie Du sie Dir gewünscht hättest. Aber Michael, Du hast oft genug in Deiner sportlichen Karriere schon bewiesen, dass Du ein ganz ganz Großer bist, dass Du gerad aus solchen Situationen noch mehr Ehrgeiz schöpfst und diese "Kleinigkeiten" mit Leichtigkeit meisterst.
Also Schumi....lass uns Fans bitte wenigstens(!) noch ein Jahr Rennen für Rennen mit Dir mitfiebern und zusammen Deine Erfolge feiern...!!!
Und selbst wenn Kimi bei den Roten mit ins Boot steigen sollte,....NA UND?! Selbst dann weißt Du doch: DU bist der Größte und Beste, mit dem stärkeren Charakter und dem unbändigsten Siegeswillen.

Driving isnt about being fair or nice... its about being the best! If you leave you wil be a legend.. but please dont as i think F1 will be a lesser sport without you. The motivation for staying at the top of a sport demands respect and for that many, in fact most respect. The ones that dont are simply jealous!

Good luck with whatever you choose, regardless of what anyone says you have made modern F1 what it is now. I sincerely hope that you stay on.

Michael, you must do what you feel is best, only you can decide when the time is right but I really hope you stay for at least another season. I came to F1 to support Damon but soon became one of your many faithful followers and although I would not stop watching F1 if you were not there it would not hold the same emotion.

From the very first moment in your Formula 1 career it was all very clear that you were something special. Still after all these GP - it is till so obvious that you still posess all the qualities and quantities to achieve more success. My point of view is that your way of motivating a team is unequaled in the enire history of Formula 1. My greatest memories of you in Formula 1 are;
2nd Belgium 1993 - overtaking Prost
1st Brazil 1994 - proving your speed in a race with the re-fuelling.
1st Belgium 1996- beating all in in not the best car
1st Monaco 1997 - majestic in rain
1st Belgium 1997 - on intermediate
Complete 1998 for not giving up and among them superb victory in Hungary
2000, the start, the fight and re-motivation at Monza and finally a typically victory in Japan.
2001, perhaps actually your best season, relaxed after the Ferrari championship, despite really close competition - you and Ferrari always beat the competitors.
2002 the only season where you bored med
2003 clearly one level better than everyone else. Icecool in the pitstop in Austria. Magnificent at Canada beating faster cars. And when it mattered in Italy and US you responded with thwo perfect wins.
2004 - It was all too obvious I assume
2005 -never giving up, despite the situation
2006 - for turning a championship around - a bit like '98. Unequalled motiviation through the team to improve car and magnificent racing at Bahrain (despite not winning), Imola, US, France and Germany.

Dear Michael, I actually think you have already decided to quit - and I assume you will a top career in business - and occasionally turning up at Mille Miglia and Goodwood for Ferrari. And also in charity for Unicef or U.N.

But, please Michael if you have the slightest hesitation - please stay at Ferrari for one more year and take on Raikkonen and prove who is the best. Because over a complete season nobody beats you in motivation, speed consistency and being part of a team developing a car.

One of the brightest driver the world has ever seen.

I am not a michael fan, but definetely the sport will be something lesser and poorer without him fighting.
