I've been watching Formula 1 for about 10 years now and I really cant imagine it without Michael. Everyone has to retire at some point, preferably when they're still at the top of the game, but I do think Michael should give his fans all over the world the chance to say goodbye properly.
So Michael, please carry on for one more year!

I agree that schu retiring at the end of this season, I think the times have come for him but as much as I hate him in the past because I'm the fans of mika hakkinen and mclaren, this time around I would like to see him win this season title. The reason is simple the guy deserved it. For Alonso, I don't think he is at the same level as schu even schu 10 years older than him.

Das, was Menschen wie Michael Schumacher für das Image unseres Landes tun, ist weit mehr wert als wir überhaupt überschauen können! Er ist ohne Frage einer der größten Sportler aller Zeiten, und er hat dem Begriff Teamplayer wieder Inhalt gegeben. Wir waren es, die seit seiner Teilnahme an der Formel 1 unendlich viel Freude daran bekommen haben, und dafür gebührt Michael großer Dank!
Daß solche Größe auch einen Preis hat, ist bei dieser Leistung völlig akzeptabel. Michael ist kein Gott, auch wenn alle Welt ihn dazu gerne hochstilisiert hat - er ist ein Mensch und diesem seien auch Fehler erlaubt und verziehen. Deshalb die Bitte an alle Fans und Gegner: Hört auf mit diesen Extremen zwischen Krönung und Verachtung - das ist armselig!
Ich habe größte Achtung vor dieser Lebensleistung und wäre natürlich sehr traurig, wenn Michael aufhörte. Aber ich könnte ihn verstehen. Wer würde schon gerne mit ihm tauschen und ständig diesem unglaublichen Druck standhalten? Dazu gehört ohne Frage große Persönlichkeit.
Lieber Michael, wie auch immer Deine Entscheidung ausfällt - wir sind Dir dankbar, daß Du uns so großartigen Sport geliefert hast und beglückwünschen uns zu einem solchen Repräsentanten unseres Landes! Im 15 years old and i dont know what i will do if michael retires.
Hes been my alltime hero all my life, ive met him and that still remains the best moment of my all life.

Michael you still have the best to come. Now you have 15 years experience, and I believe you are driving better than ever, so carry on. I can not imagine watching F1 without you driving.
Kimi or Fernando are no match for you. They have everything to prove, I hate it when people compare them with you. If Kimi comes to Ferrari you will have no problem beating him.
Next year with Bridgestone being the only tyre supplier, Alonso moving to Mclaren, Kimi trying to settle with Ferrari, you will have a nice and easy championship in your pocket.
Please stay with F1 atleast for another two years.
