All the history you have in your 15 yrs in the sport the right & the mistakes you made makes it more exiting to watch you racing...I will love it if you win again whoever, just watching challenging for the win adds another reason to watch the race. It is you who will say when you should stop but if you would ask me I'd say it will be nice to see you racing for many more years even though if you change teams and your winning streak start to fade, I know you will be an isperation to learn from and to see you fighting for your gaols. I was & I hope it will continue be a joy watching racing but for the joy you gave me I wish you all the best whatever you choose to do and please keep in touch with sport it will only make it lively...I say this & I know you have made your choice by know.

Caro Michael sono una mamma molto tifosa della F1 ma sono soprattutto una tua grande sostenitrice, sin dall'inizio sei stato subito troppo bravo e con il passare degli anni hai dimostrato di essere un uomo troppo im gamba, preparato, serio nel lavoro molto delicato che svolgi, e simpaticissimo nei momenti meno impegnativi, oltre che un marito ed un padre dolcissimo. Qualsiasi decisione tu abbia intenzione di prendere, ricordati che per la mia famiglia tu sei il nr. 1, per me sei un uomo eccezionale ed hai fatto grande la nostra Italia, ma tu sai che gioia quando per merito tuo ogni momento potevamo sentire il nostro inno nazionale.

Thank you for all your kind messages of support for myself. I am totally under-whelmed quite honestly for all this kindness.

I will be talking to the press after the race which I am expecting to win this weekend, when I can say about my decision. But to be honest I am thinking I am in a tricky position to be continuing next year. I would not want to be racing with the small finnish one in the team, because I have nothing to prove, and as my team mate at the moment is looking for victories more frequently I find that we are not able to get on as friends as much as previously.
