Michael and all his family are touched by all of the positive responses posted on this page. The decision that has or has not been reached yet will, as planned, be anounced in a press conference after the last current Ferrari driver has left the track. There are always diffrent opinions, both Ferrari and Michael are very aware of this, so the negative comments are also appreciated. You can expect a very historic race weekend, with Michael already topping the free practice times for drivera, a full 9 places infront of the current, and well respected Renault driver, Fernando Alonso. This is leaving a very positive outlook for the race weekend.
As fans of Michael are very aware, he likes a battle. Fernando (Alonso) and Renault are giving Michael and Ferrari this, with the small number of points in the Drivers and Constructers Championship, this will be a tense, closley fourght battle.

This is great, a whole community who hates Schumacher

How many schumi fans have actually seen him race? in every race I've been to, the biggest cheer of the weekend is when he spins off, of crashes in to the back of Heidfeld in the pit lane (Siverstone 2004) They're like Man Utd fans, only about 2% of them actually go to races, they'll all be cheering on the next championship winner sooner. Schumacher will only be remembered for all his cheating and lying. Lets get F1 back to how it should be, a sport!

As someone who has been watching Formula 1 before Michael Schumacher started racing I have watched him through his career. In my own opinion, I have never been a fan of Michael since the incident involving Jaques Villeneuve in 1997 at Jerez which was Michael's fault. Michael's race craft requires him to win no matter what the risk or subsequent consequences. I honestly feel that if Michael wins the title this year (2006) it will be a miracle and I am sure he will announce his retirement at the end of the year at Monza this weekend. I feel it may be time to hand over the reigns to the younger generation. I am sure no matter what the decision he and Ferrari will go out guns blazing for the remainder of the year to secure both titles. Michael thank you for the racing, good luck in the future and so long.

The best there is, the best there has been and the best there will ever be. This was not what i thought of Micheal when i first learnt about him it 1993 and was not a fan of yours. When 1996 arrived and your move to Ferrari. I beleive then you certainly proved yourself in more ways than any race driver before you. By winning a championships against 4-5 main rivals over the years, developing a team to uber status, being competitive and a championship contenter for a greater percentage of your time than any other and of course winding up the english press. ;D It's all there !! I would like to thank you for all the great races i've enjoyed and the special moments of genius you have exibited to make me a huge fan and my sundays much brighter. I sincerly hope you don't quit so i can fufill a dream to see you racing in person. DON'T LEAVE !!! :D
