Ive never really been a fan of Michael but having raced myself for many years i respect him for the special talent and ability to drive flat out in all conditions especially in the wet.Anyone can drive/ride quick in the dry but it takes a special kind of driver/rider with exceptional talent to push to the limit in wet conditions and he posesses this ability.How many times have we seen him crash out in the wet?NOT MANY.If he was no longer competitive i.e.constantly out of the top 3 then i would say its time to retire.Also have you ever seen any of the other top drivers finish a GP without hardly breaking a sweat?,i think the answer to that is NO.Many people are still judging whether he should retire or not on last years performances but if you correctly analise the rule changes from 2004 to 2005 you will see that they appear to be changed to penilise Ferrari for their ability to engineer a near purfect race car when in fact it was not Ferrari's fault they walked all over the oposition but the other teams with equaly big budgets that failed to utilise thier money in the correct areas to devlop a competitive car.One must also wonder just how competitive Renault would of been last year had they not been using the suspension damper thats just been ruled unlawfull?
