I don't know if any one else noticed when watching onboard footage of Michael. In the breaking zones and exits of corners he would use or overlap the throttle and brake at the same time. No other driver does this. Not even Alonso or Raikkonen. They had distictive brake then throttle, red then green, where as Michael was balancing the two.
It's quite interesting to see that!

Is winning 3 Championships in ten years really poor? Remember Alonso hasn't won his third yet!

Michael came close to winning the championship many times in betweeen.
1996- He finished 3rd.
1997 and 1998- He finished 2nd. Lost both titles at last GP.
1999- He finished 5th. Would have won the title but broke his leg.

Considering Michael had to rebuild a new team i think rather than being poor, these years show his consistency and desire to win.
The real test for Alonso begins now. He will have a real job turning McLaren around and i don't think it will be as easy as you Alonso fans beleive.

Blocking is part of racing. That block on Alonso down Hanger straight was one of the best. It 's part of racing. Michael always defended his position and never gave up even when the cause was lost. Hard but fair.
Hungary and Monaco were two of Michael's best races this year. He used his racecraft tor escue the situation.

Yes, i agree. He didn't cheat and he should not of been punished. He didn't do any thing wrong.The reason he was punished in 97 and at Monaco was because people saw the incidents in the past and decided Michael was guilty. He was punished because the FIA gave way to piblic and media pressure.

In 94 they found a electronic device option in the software of the Benetton however it was never used.
He was unfairly punished in 97 and at Monaco this year. Maybe his past played apart against him. As previously said by others, Michaels actions were no worse than others before him.

Agreed. Alonso at this stage of his career is equal with Schumi at a similar time in his. But that's were the similarities end. He might win one more but won't get close to Michael's overall records
These past two years Alonso has had the best car. The R25 and R26 was easy to setup, reliable and fast on all types of circuit. Generally the Michelin tyre has been faster. But in 1994 (not so much in 1995), the Williams was the faster car.
Your right Alonso was nowhere in 2003 and ofcourse he had a poor car.

The gap between Schumi's 2nd and 3rd titles were long however how many times did he finish runner up?

Alonso is arrogant. He drives well, but he will never become world champion again, and in three, four years he will be forgotten. Schumi, instead, won't be forgotten -'cause he won more than anybody else.
